Conveniently located at the Southern Gateway to Napa and Sonoma Wine Country, Cornerstone Sonoma is an eclectic collection of art galleries, shops, wineries and a gourmet café & market set amidst nine acres of garden installations created by the world’s leading landscape architects. TheGardens at Cornerstone Sonoma are a series of walk-through installations showcasing new and innovative designs from the world's finest landscape architects and designers. When commissioned, these artists were given the freedom to create anything from traditional gardens to modern, conceptual installations. Each designer was provided a garden parcel of approximately 1,800 square feet, a few practical considerations and the sole directive to “Invent, inform and create beautiful and thought provoking spaces”.

Since opening in 2004 , Cornerstone's Gardens has drawn international acclaim from publications such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and Garden Design magazine. Newsweek states, "Cornerstone showcases the best in cutting-edge international landscape design," and the site is featured in "1001 Gardens to See Before you Die". Gardens are open daily 1-4 and. admission is free.

Docent led tours:
Cornerstone Sonoma offers customized guided tours for groups of 10 or more. Call 707/933-3010 during business hours to make reservations. Or email: events@cornerstonesonoma.com . A two week lead time is recommended. The guided tour will last approximately 1 - 1 1/2 hours. Catering services and private meeting spaces are also available through our events division.
