Behold the winds of Sonoma as the cocoons spin round and round. Fabricated by wrapping 5 miles of colored monofilament tightly around a laser cut stainless steel armature created by architect Willam Massie, the Cocoons were originally conceived for a public works project in Emeryville CA.

About the designer / Drawing on diverse cultural backgrounds, Vietnamese born landscape designer and artist Andy Cao and French landscape designer Xavier Perrot create hybrid environments, a blending of art and landscape to make a place for dreaming. The projects, both temporary and permanent, cross commercial, artistic and residential boundaries, varying in size from intimate courtyards, to large-scale public art.
