Andrea Cochran has been practicing landscape architecture in the San Francisco Bay area for over twenty years. After graduating from Harvard University's Graduate School of Design, Ms. Cochran entered the offices of the architect, Jose Luis Sert. This experience was pivotal in informing her approach to landscape design that integrates and mediates the overlapping boundaries between architecture and landscape.

Designers Andrea Cochran and Horng Sheng Tu have created a field of softy waving willow panels and lines of horse tail grasses to greet visitors as they approach the Cornerstone site. The courtyard design borrows the surrounding landscape and recreates it as a maze of nine willow panels.
