DOCENT LED PRIVATE TOURS
The docent will begin with a history of Cornerstone Festival of Gardens, which is literally a one-of-a-kind experience in the United States, modeled on a ‘collection’ of gardens in France’s Loire Valley. The docent will lead the group through a set of intriguing gardens, explaining, answering questions, engaging the group in an examination of the designer’s intentions, and more. In many cases, atypical materials or an unusual approach is being taken by the designers, and the group will leave with an understanding of the uniqueness of Cornerstone as a whole. Experience the ‘traditional’ gardens as well as a range of fascinating avant-guard designs and perhaps you will be inspired to view your garden in a new and inspired way.
